He doesn't want to live together if we're not going to get married. He doesn't want to be together at all if we're not going to get married.

I'm ambivalent on cohabitation, but I think marriage is a terrifying, illogical, antiquated, unnecessary legal obligation.

It's not a commitment thing. I am monogamous by nature.

But I know how people change. And don't change.

He's much more romantic about it than I am, but I think I'm more realistic.
