I signed up for this freebies newsletter thing, because I'm all about free samples, and in order to get a sample of makeup or something I had to write a poem. So I wrote a very quick poem about nothing and today, I received in the mail an offer to buy a book that my poem is a semi-finalist for for publication. I was kind of pleased until I realized (a) that my poem really sucks and (b) that it's all business. I don't really even like poetry. So that's silly.
I learned the cash registers yesterday at the gap. It was so much better than anything else. Seriously, I can't imagine going back to fitting rooms. And how could anyone be a fitting room specialist? Bleh.
Saw Legally Blonde last night. It was better than I expected, and I am now more of a fan of Reese Witherspoon, but I hate hate hate going to the theaters. And why do people clap at the end of movies? THE ACTORS CAN'T HEAR YOU!
Who comes up wiht names for cereal? "Corn Pops," "Coco Puffs," "Froot Loops" ... ??
