hmmm. i still don't know what to think.

sometime today i'll type up my entry in my *real* journal (ooo) from last night.

I wish I could read minds. What was he thinking? I don't like being so unaware of what's going on. And Matt's right...I could really, really easily manipulate people. Unfortunately, I didn't have the energy last night to mess with Travis's friends. Ugh. Wow, they were such lame-asses.

It occured to me today that I will be a high school graduate, unofficially, by Wednesday. I'll still be living at home. I'll be 17 so I still won't be able to move out, even if I was financially able to do so.

Last night, Travis's Lame-ass Friends were incredulous when I told them that my curfew was 1 but I was going home at 3. Wouldn't I get in trouble? they pondered. Nope. And I didn't! My mom's scared to rob me of any form of a social life, for fear I'll rebel. Besides, I wasn't doing anything wrong. I really did just want to see the ending of Pay It Forward (it would have been better if Travis's Lame-ass Friends weren't talking about Billy Gray's parents collection of Fetishist Sex Items. Bondage, dildos, and porn movies, oh my! It was an educational evening for all.)

You know what's very silly of me? Whenever Redding has a record-breaking day in terms of temperature, I get all excited, like I somehow contributed to this record-breaking. I feel like an idiot just typing it.

Mmmmmmmmm, leftover pizza, mmm, processed cheese, mmmmm.

I love The Monkees. I really do. I'm smiling just from listening to them.
