<> That may have something to do with the city being run by Jesus. Seriously, the founders of the city "entered into a contract with god" (no idea how people do that) that they would never have the Rose Parade on a Sunday if he would agree to never make it rain on the day of the Rose Parade.

YOU'RE BACK!!! How are you, where are you?? I've been thinking about you loads! Aaaaaand....I meant Petaluma, not Pasadena, although that little tidbit has led me to never want to visit Pasadena ever again.

Yes, I'm back! And pretty much guaranteed to turn 29 in a couple of weeks, so I'm much better than I was two months ago. I'm back at my parents' house for now, which is driving me a little crazy because NOTHING in Northridge has changed since I finished high school. How can nothing change in 11 years?! I wonder if there's a city council here that's been entering into contracts with random deities. At the very least, a few nearby neighborhoods have allowed billboards about the world definitely ending on May 21 this year. I got out of the hospital a couple of weeks ago, and now I'm in a day rehab program at a hospital in Northridge, getting seen by physical, occupational, and speech therapists. It's a little odd, since I'm about 40 years younger than all the other patients, and apparently my recovery's been so good that they're not exactly sure what to do with me because I might be too advanced for their normal program. I've also received news from there that in order to get my driver's license back (turns out a Traumatic Brain Injury equals a license becoming invalid), I have to get a new learner's permit. I guarantee you I never dreamed about being 15 again, but it's coming soon. Well, hopefully soon. LA's a pretty bad place to be without being able to drive. How are you?? Thank you so much for coming down to visit when I was in the first hospital! How did you find out that January had turned out to be a really bad month for me?

I'm definitely making pluses with Petaluma by naming baby 'Belen,' if Lindsey's correct. It was so amazing to see you. It was like woah. I mean, better than woah. Thank you so much for coming.
