There's a Korean spa in my neighborhood? I heard last week that you had come down to see me at hospital #1, and I really appreciate that. I'm starting to wish I remembered that hospital because I keep hearing about having had tons of visitors. And flashing a lot of them; that's one part I do not particularly enjoying hearing about. I'm now at hospital #3 (UCLA), and probably getting released Thursday! I have to go stay with my parents for at least a couple of weeks, and I have no idea when the last time was that I was so excited to stay in Northridge. I think I really will mostly recover. I have a voice again, I'm conscious, and I can read easily. I'm still missing two pieces of my skull, but hopefully those will get put back soon. I kind of REALLY hate surgery, but I'm certainly not crazy about missing pieces of my head either. A coma, brain surgeries, and a stroke were certainly not what I had in mind for this year. In the meantime, I'm having second thoughts about going back to taking public transportation to work. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to drive for a while when I first get out of here, or consume any kind of alcohol. When I get closer to normal, I'll come up and visit. Wine-tasting weekend never happened, since I was in a coma, so that's got to be rescheduled. How did you hear about me being in the accident? With the possible exception of Sarah, I can't think of anyone who would have your number.
