I'm feeling a little disconnected. I should read a book, is what I should do. Then it'll be okay that I'm all alone in my house, no dog (the roommates took him to the b-e-a-c-h), no boyfriend (work), no friends (...), because I'm Reading, dammit, and nothing gives you more of a reason to be alone than a good book.
So why aren't I reading when that's what I really want to be doing? Because it's what I really need to be doing. Dammit.
