This fire is out of control

i like being able to spout off phrases like:

theglitterfades0: recommend a book for me?
SamDuck15: have you read bukowski?
SamDuck15: I just got his newest book of poems
theglitterfades0: DON'T START ON BUKOWSKI
SamDuck15: fine
theglitterfades0: i once got in this, like, 2 hour long discussion with this guy--uh, long story about the guy--and i haven't been able to read a word of him since
SamDuck15: bummer
theglitterfades0: because this guy, forgothisname...strange...marshall! was like, basing all of his personal beliefs on him
SamDuck15: have you read Cunt?
SamDuck15: super fucking femenist book
theglitterfades0: yes
theglitterfades0: i have read it
theglitterfades0: and thought it was 90% bullshit
theglitterfades0: and 10% genius
theglitterfades0: sigh. i'm a republican at heart.

to people who won't say, "what the fuck does that mean?" so i don't have to say, "i dunno, just seemed like the right thing to type."

i miss people. i miss derrick, who might hitchhike down here on monday. i don't know why i miss him. probably just because he said i was hot.

i miss maddie. i don't know why i miss her. probably just because i want her to not make the same mistakes i did, but of course, she'll have to if she ever wants to be anything.

i miss cary. i can't even have a decent conversation with her anymore.

i miss michelle. i want to hold her baby and say, "i'm your aunt morgan and i'm going to tell you all about michelle when you're old enough to get in trouble for smoking pot.

i miss suzy but that's neither here nor there. i wish i could take all my people and go live on a commune. no, as a matter of fact, i don't. that would be awful. no wonder all of my friends live a plane flight away from me. i get so sick of people sometimes.

theglitterfades0: have you read the alchemist?
SamDuck15: no.
theglitterfades0: you have to borrow it
theglitterfades0: i put off reading it for years
theglitterfades0: because joanna told me to read it
theglitterfades0: and the last book she recommended was by ayn rand.
theglitterfades0: so i didn't trust her anymore
theglitterfades0: but aaron told me to read it and i did and read it on the bus for the past two days and i'm all spiritual now.

i called joanna to apologize for not trusting her but she didn't pick up.

SamDuck15: alright. I'm not really reading anything right now so bring it for me.
theglitterfades0: come here after the movie
theglitterfades0: we'll get a bottle of wine and go up to the roof
theglitterfades0: and wax philosophic about cock.
theglitterfades0: it'll be great!
SamDuck15: wax?
SamDuck15: that does sound grea.
SamDuck15: t
SamDuck15: .
SamDuck15: i'll see if Paul's down, but Paul's like you. He never wants to do anything
theglitterfades0: where do you find these people?
theglitterfades0: you need better friends.

About me
Hi. Morgan, 27, of Santa Barbara, CA. I am a hypocritical admirer of rhetoric (when it is my own) and an observer of literary trends. A secret: I don't take anything very seriously, and that includes myself.
