reason number 3 billion i never want to live with girls again: that costco pack of tampons that you had at college that you couldn't get through disappears at an alarming rate. never again.

i showed up at work at 7:30 because we got a new system for the thingy i'm in charge of. (you know, the thingy.) but it didn't start working until 8, so i had a nice relaxing morning, except now i'm pooped and starving and i have another hour til lunch. and i got off an hour early last night, so i have to stay til 6:30 tonight ... 10 hour work days do not suit me. but i have tomorrow off, so i suppose it's cool.

and i have nothing else to say. we ate at piatti yesterday in the u village, and that was nice. our first night out in a v. long time, and our second night to a nice restaurant without any alcohol. whatev.

i'm re-reading the giver because i'm going to send it to aaron's mum but i want to make sure it's not too 6th grade. it's not. it's fabulous. read it. now.

i have a confession to make: i've been watching america's next top model on upn. shame on me, first and foremost, for watching upn at all. and then, of course, for watching a show that highlights tyra banks (who i've hated ever since life size ... not that i watched that ... 3 times ... ever). sigh. pardon me while i hang my head in shame.

i just found out that wamu and dell have a partnership thingy where in the month of june all employees get $500 off the dell comp of their choice. fuck me. i also was told that we have a cashless stock option, which means i can purchase stock without any money up front, and when the stock goes up, i get the difference. am i really ready, at age 19, to delve into the stock market? i fucking think so. rock on, free money.

lunch in t-minus 40 minutes. get ready to pot-sticker it up.

About me
Hi. Morgan, 27, of Santa Barbara, CA. I am a hypocritical admirer of rhetoric (when it is my own) and an observer of literary trends. A secret: I don't take anything very seriously, and that includes myself.
