in a fit of blind optimism, i told my brother than i have a boyfriend, just to see what he would say. he ended the 10-minute conversation with:
"Make sure you don't treat him too badly."
yeah, fuck how he treats me.
i love that he knows me so well that i would never let myself get the shit treatment in a relationship.
